Microchip dog

A microchip is a quick, safe and inexpensive way to permanently identify your pet. Is the size of a grain of rice and is implanted under the skin of the puppy, usually in the lower part of your neck. Each chip carries a unique code that can be identified by a reader available at most veterinary clinics, police stations, town halls and shelters. If ever someone finds your lost dog without a collar, the chip that can be used to locate you. 




You can be the one who decides to take the dog to the vet to put a microchip. In other cases, you will be offered the chance at a center local host, the breeder, the kennel or even a dog show organized locally. 

Remember that although your dog to wear a microchip, it's still required by law to also carry a collar and an identification plate
